Overview

The Ft. Lauderdale congregation promotes a sense of community as we do life together. We seek to grow in the grace and the knowledge of God.

We gather each Sunday for morning and afternoon worship services, with lunch and a fellowship hour in-between. Additionally, we have a worship service Wednesday evenings from January through Easter.

We are a part of the Apostolic Christian Church of America. Fellowship with those from our other churches around the world is an important part of our culture.

What we believe

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God.

We believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

We believe that Jesus rose from the dead, having victory over sin and death and grave.

We believe that through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we are given the gift of eternal life.

Our Statement of Faith expresses what we believe the Bible teaches about ourselves, God, and the plan of salvation.

History

Our church in the Ft. Lauderdale area began in the early 1950s. It consisted of several local families that were full-time residents, as well as a group of winter residents and visitors from our other churches. This model continues today, with a strong connection to the other churches in the Apostolic Christian network.

Our current church building in Plantation FL was completed in 1964 and remodeled in 2010.
